What practice involves
VocalCoach uses your account and workspace details to provide training, track progress and manage prepaid usage. During browser practice, your microphone audio is sent to the configured voice provider. Conversation transcripts and generated feedback are stored against your training session. Depending on the scenario's setting, audio may also be saved for authorised playback.
Turning off saved playback in VocalCoach does not switch off live voice processing or determine the provider's retention. Do not include real customer records, passwords, payment-card details or sensitive personal information in practice conversations.
Who processes the information
The application is hosted on Microsoft Azure. Voice conversations and AI feedback use external providers selected by the operator; provider-specific retention and international transfer arrangements are still being verified. Stripe processes credit purchases. Email services handle account messages. Your workspace's permissions determine which authorised people can access training records.
Retention and your choices
Audio playback has a configured expiry and cleanup process. Training transcripts, feedback, account records, financial records, backups and provider-held copies have different lifecycles; the complete retention schedule is not yet finalised. Deleting an account must not be assumed to remove every associated record or provider copy.
Depending on the processing and applicable exceptions, you may have rights to access, correct or erase information, restrict or object to processing, and obtain portable data. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office. The operational contact route for requests is being verified before launch.

AI feedback
Feedback is generated automatically and can be wrong. It is intended for practice and coaching. It should not be used on its own to make recruitment, employment, medical or other significant decisions about a person.
