How charges are calculated
We multiply the provider's cost by 1.20: a 15% service markup and a 5% cost buffer. Each charge is rounded up to the nearest $0.0001.
Before a chargeable action starts, we hold enough credit to cover it, then settle against recorded usage. Unused held credit returns to your balance. Every charge is itemised in your workspace: what it cost us, our fee, and the total.

Is VocalCoach pay as you go?
Yes. Pay as you go from one prepaid balance. There is no per-seat subscription and no monthly platform charge.
Which currency will I pay in?
US dollars. Each top-up is between $5 and $2,000. Your bank may charge a fee to convert from pounds or another currency.
Do credits expire?
Purchased credits currently have no expiry. Any promotional credit comes with its own stated terms.
Is there a free trial?
Creating a workspace, exploring the library and inviting your team cost nothing, but registration alone does not guarantee free credit. Practice starts with a top-up.
Why is credit held before a call?
A practice call can run for up to 10 minutes, so we hold enough credit for that before it starts. Afterwards you pay for what was used and the rest returns to your balance. AI feedback is charged separately.
Can the AI assistant create a custom course for my business?
Yes. Describe your business, a fictional call situation and your training goals. The AI assistant drafts callers and course levels for you to review, edit and approve. Generation is charged by AI usage, and voice setup and practice use credit. Check each exercise's availability and estimate before starting.
Does custom interruption practice cost extra?
Saving interruption settings does not use credit. Preparing a new practice voice and making calls can use credit, and AI feedback is charged separately. Check each exercise's availability and estimate before you start; a custom setup may have a different practice rate.
What happens when my balance is low?
You need enough available credit to start something new. Usage already incurred is still settled, so final adjustments can reduce the balance below zero. Top up to keep practising.
Does a certificate prove professional competence?
No. Certificates show that someone completed a VocalCoach course. They are not external accreditation or a substitute for a manager's assessment.
